Welcome to a new musical experience in the machine hall at Vemork
On Saturday, November 16, Violet Road comes to the Machine Hall at Vemork!
For over 10 years, the Norwegians in Violet Road have been making music together and building a solid musical catalog, consisting of hits such as "Face of the Moon", "Can You Hear The Morning Singing" and "Jericho". Never before have these been performed acoustically for an audience. Until now.
In the fall of 2019, Violet Road goes on tour with box guitars, dim lighting and the good stories. Now they are going out to meet the audience in some of the country's most unique and soulful halls to perform their most famous songs in a brand new suit.
Violet Road's fan base is one of the country's most faithful and many have experienced the band a number of times at major festivals and concert scenes. Having sold out the Opera in Oslo, the band is now challenging themselves at the other end of the scale.
“We want to give our fans a whole new experience, and give them the opportunity to get in on us completely. We hope it will feel like we are all sitting in Hogne's living room playing songs for each other, ”says Halvard Rundberg in the band.
This spring they released the songs "Backseat Babies" and "Lovers & Liars". This was to warm up to the release of the self-produced EP "Lovers & Liars" which came on August 2nd.
Violet Road is known for its musical range and the band takes the audience on an emotional journey that goes both high and low. This will be no exception.
